The Spirit of the Himalayas, Delivered to Your Soul
Born in the Mountains, Meant for Every Heart
Meditation isn't about renouncing the world; it’s about living fully while remaining unaffected by the curve balls thrown by life. Like a lotus that blooms in the mud yet remains untouched by it, we too can live in this society while preserving our own inner purity and peace.
What is Samarpan Meditation?
Samarpan Meditation is an ancient practice rooted in the spiritual traditions of the Himalayas, offering a way to turn inward and discover the wellspring of wellbeing, happiness, and inner peace that resides within each of us. It’s not a religion or a philosophy—it doesn’t require belief or disbelief. Instead, it’s about opening yourself to the experience of your inner guide, the "soul within," which offers immeasurable benefits, regardless of who you are or what you believe.
At its core, Samarpan Meditation is simple and grounded in personal experience. As we connect more deeply with our inner selves, we start to receive guidance from within, unlocking clarity and direction that’s uniquely our own.
Samarpan Meditation offers an opportunity for anyone, regardless of background or belief, to explore the depths of their inner self and lead a more balanced, fulfilling life, all while being deeply rooted in the rich spiritual heritage of the Himalayas.
Our History
For nearly a millennium, Samarpan Meditation was safeguarded in the remote peaks of the Himalayas, nurtured and refined by sages and ascetics—spiritual researchers of the modern society. This knowledge, passed down from one sage to another for over 800 years, was carefully preserved and developed to serve humanity. Once this profound Himalayan wisdom was distilled into a single, transformative experience of the soul, the time came to share it with the world. The responsibility to do so was given to an ordinary human, who embarked on an extraordinary spiritual journey.
This ordinary man spent 16 years in the Himalayas, immersing himself in the teachings of the Himalayan sages and ancient meditation practices. Through surrendering to their wisdom, he was transformed into a Himalayan saint. He returned to society with a mission to share this timeless knowledge with the world. He became known as His Holiness Shri Shivkrupanand Swami, and in the mid-1990s, he introduced Samarpan Meditation to humanity. The meditation arrived in the UK in late 2000 and has since spread to over 70 countries in the following two decades.
What sets his mission apart is the selfless nature of his gift. His Holiness shared this meditation freely, asking for nothing in return—not because the knowledge lacks value, but because it is invaluable. The wisdom he brought down from the Himalayas was not meant to be sold or hoarded; it was a gift for all, a priceless offering designed to awaken the inner peace and fulfillment within every soul.
