Mayor of Rushcliffe opens Meditation hall at Samarpan yog centre for meditation and retreat
The Mayor of Rushcliffe Council, John Cottee, officially inaugurated the newly completed Meditation Hall at Samarpan Yog Centre for Meditation and Retreat on Sunday, 16 November 2025, marking a significant milestone for the Shree Shivkrupanand Swami Trust and commemorating 25 years of Samarpan Meditation in the United Kingdom.

ChAiTanYa MahOTSaV 2025
This year we celebrated Swamiji’s 71st birthday at the Samarpan Yog Centre for Meditation and Retreat, and it felt like a real milestone for all of us. It was the first time we meditated together in the newly built meditation hall, and the atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and full of warmth.
It was also the first time that we held a full two-day event at the Centre. Some people stayed overnight at the Centre, others stayed in nearby accommodation, and many joined in for day visits. Overall, it was a simple, heartfelt celebration that brought everyone together in a really natural way.

Havan (fire ceremony) at samarpan Yog centre
A collective Havan (fire ceremony) was held at the Samarpan Yog Centre for Meditation and Retreat on 15th June 2025. Many meditators participated in the ceremony, using this sacred opportunity to deepen their connection with nature. The ceremony involved the use of Havan samagri, a blend of natural substances including dried medicinal plants, aromatic woods, and resins, traditionally believed to purify the atmosphere through their fragrance and properties. The event concluded with a peaceful group meditation and a shared lunch.
