On 17 January, we held an open online Zoom meeting to share the latest news about the GuruShakti Dham project and the planned timescale for 2021, and we'd like to share a summary with everyone here.
To be ready for Swamiji's return to the UK to hold his important Anusthan, to keep costs down and avoid VAT, and to maintain momentum ~ the next 5 months of fundraising targets are critical if we are to reach a ready building by Spring 2022.
It is truly amazing just how far the project has come and how much has been raised. It's exciting to know that with everyone's help through contributions and support from our UK community and Samarpan family all around the world, all the preparations of the site and the Stage 1 Groundworks were completed, and some preparations for Stage 2, such as the design and construction of the glulam timber structure, are also ready.
Our monthly targets for 2021 are achievable if we can all keep this incredibly important project at the forefront of our hearts and minds. We pray that through this Anusthan everyone connected with the high vibrations that Swamiji shares with us, will feel as much connection with his murti in the UK and this project.

Retreats with Swamiji
The new retreat dates will be confirmed as soon as Swamiji agrees the dates proposed, which we aim to schedule during April/May 2022. We would aim to open bookings for spaces very soon.
All current bookings that have been paid for will be transferred to the new dates and we will contact you to let you know what dates are available as soon as we have confirmation of the dates from Swamiji. Where we have received only part payment for space on the retreats, we will contact you for payment of the outstanding balance.
We welcome and encourage everyone to consider how to support this project through giving and fundraising.
