"...make a collective effort and create such a place, with such an atmosphere for the next generation that will inspire them to do meditation, inspire them to receive the anubhooti of the soul. ". H. H. Shivkrupanand Swami, 10 June 2018
In 2008, during the 45 day 'Anusthan' (deep meditation practice), Swamiji poured his spiritual vibrations into a Living Energy Statue that was destined to reside in the UK for the benefit of all of Europe. During June of that year, the Statue made its way to the UK via Germany and Swamiji visited to oversee the Statue's placement in its first home at Samarpan House in Leicester. He then spent three days alone with the Statue before the first official open day of darshan on 19 June 2008. This Statue also connects with the other energised Statues located across the world as a network of consciousness raising, pure vibrations.
Today we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the arrival and consecration of the Statue. A wonderful lunch and programme had been arranged for this milestone event, which began with a special audio message sent by Swamiji for the occasion. Meditation was followed by a cake cutting ceremony and continued with a 'garba' dance and a fun-filled raffle prize event that ended the day’s programme. See the pics below.
Amongst the joyfulness of the day, we should not forget the importance of Swamiji's message, which is a clear call to action for us "...to make a collective effort and create such a place, with such an atmosphere for the next generation that will inspire them to do meditation, inspire them to receive the anubhooti of the soul. This is because you have benefited from having a living Guru in your life but that will not be the case with the next generation. So the Gurushaktidham is even more necessary for them....Now all of you come together and make a collective effort that you can create a place like the Gurushaktidham for the next generation."
