Discover Stillness

~ Creating a Space for the inner journey

Join us for these historic meditation retreats with His Holiness Shivkrupanand Swamiji in the peaceful country setting of Academy St Albans, Hertfordshire.

This is a unique opportunity to spend time in the company of the enlightened spiritual teacher and founder of Samarpan Meditation, to experience meditation with him, and gain the wisdom and vibrations of his teaching on many practical and spiritual matters in life

About the retreats

Experience over 3 days the simple but powerful meditation for daily life with His Holiness Shivkrupanand Swamiji. During the weekend, there will be focused teaching sessions, along with  question and answer sessions with him. The retreat programme will include a number of other activities to enjoy and that will help and support your meditation.

You will also get the benefit of meditating with a group of positive like-minded people, which increases our capacity to receive and absorb the high vibrations experienced with the meditation ~ connecting us more strongly with our own source of inner energy and wisdom.

Samarpan Meditation initiates a process of cleansing and spiritual awakening, connecting us with the soul ~ our own inner guru and guide. Once this connection is made in collectivity, we can more easily continue to develop the experience through our own regular meditation, and supported by the free weekly group meditations that are held in locations in the UK and the Samarpan daily online meditation platform.

When we meditate regularly, our aura ~ our own field of vibration, or 'subtle body' ~ becomes pure and strong, and keeps us safe when we are faced with difficult situations or bad places ~ it becomes our protective shield.

A unique legacy for the future

As well as being a wonderful personal experience in meditation, these retreats also support our fundraising campaign for the construction of a Guru Shakti Dham ~ a special kind of Meditation Hall ~ in the UK. It is part of Swamiji's extraordinary endeavour to establish a network of high positive vibrations of consciousness across the world.

The creation of sacred energy points around the globe, not only supports our own progress in life but will give many generations of spiritual seekers a place to experience the transformative power of a meditation that brings genuine satisfaction and lasting inner peace

An enchanting Victorian retreat centre

The venue for all four retreats is Academy St Albans, an elegant listed Victorian building, formerly a convent that has been sensitively adapted to modern needs whilst retaining its original charm. It is set in beautiful and extensive grounds in the village of London Colney in Hertfordshire.  This natural and secluded setting is only four miles from the centre of St Albans and 20 miles from Central London; with easy access to the motorway network (M25, M4, M40, M1) and Heathrow and Luton Airports. The venue has ample parking for travellers by car.

With a beautiful central quad garden and chapel, Academy St Albans has a natural charm. The bedrooms in St Raphael’s Residence are mainly simple shared rooms and shared bathrooms; and full board includes wholesome vegetarian meals.  This all supports the emphasis of these retreats ~ to turn our attention within and discover inner stillness through meditation.

If in the presence of a live Satguru you wish to have the flow of Universal Consciousness within you, which is flowing inside of him, then with your strong desire and by his pure wish it is possible.

By sitting near to him our questions and thoughts come to rest. We forget our mundane problems in his presence; we feel waves moving inside and around us.  Then we can be sure…this is the feeling of pure Consciousness, and we can let ourselves bathe in it.

*Cancellation of booking terms:

As these retreats are specifically for fundraising and the funds will be used for construction work ahead of the retreats taking place, and also due to the retreat size and number, managing any changes and cancellations will be challenging for the organising team, who give their time voluntarily to make these retreats special. We therefore ask for consideration and early notice of any changes once we have allocated the spaces at the retreats.

If you are unable to attend the retreat, please advise us as soon as possible so that we can re-allocate your space. We will do our best to accommodate you on another retreat if you need to change, but we cannot guarantee to be able to once spaces have been allocated. We will be unable to make any changes to bookings or take new bookings after 21 September 2020.

A full refund will be given on written request of a cancellation up to 28 August 2020, after which the refund reduces to 50% of the cost until 11 September 2020. From 11 September 0% refund will be given for any retreat.

If you wish, you may choose to convert some or all of your retreat refund to a donation, by advising us in writing also.
